I was wondering what all you guys favorite starters were, so pick it above and post below why.

Torchic
I like torchic because he evolves into one of the best sweepers in the game. Nevermind that that sweeper's hiden ability makes it a fast physical sweeper but Blaziken, when ev trained, is faster than most electric types.
